The Tax List 2023 has revealed the UK’s 100 biggest taxpayers, with Moscow-born Alex Gerko topping the list with a contribution of £487.4 million in taxes last year. Other notable names on the list include the Coates family, JK Rowling, the boss of JD Wetherspoon, Sting, and the Duke of Westminster. Together, the 100 individuals and families paid almost £5.2 billion in taxes in the UK last year.
