Quick Travel Guide – Ciudad Perdida
Ciudad Perdida, also known as the Lost City, is an archaeological site located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, in northern Colombia. It was built by the Tayrona people around 800 CE and is one of the most important pre-Columbian sites in South America.
To visit Ciudad Perdida, you’ll need to join a guided trek that takes you through the jungle and over the mountains to the site. The trek is moderately difficult, with several steep climbs and river crossings, so it’s important to be in good physical condition.
